The Arapahoe County divorce-record guidance says divorce records and forms are handled by the courts, not Arapahoe County government. The first task is therefore to identify the filing court and approximate filing year.

Arapahoe County says divorce case files, records, or registers from 1992-2008 may be requested from Colorado State Archives and usually require a case number; if you do not have one, it points to the Archives Search. For divorces outside that span, or when the archive route does not locate the matter, request through the Arapahoe County Combined Court or the District Court where the divorce was filed. An archive index/search hit is not itself a certified decree.

The Colorado Judicial Record/Document Request Form asks for case number when known, case type/year, county/location, party names, date of birth if known, and the requested document. For family matters it specifically lists a divorce decree and lets the requester mark documents for certification/exemplification.
